High School Results 1/10-1/14

Again, swimmers are competing against Mother Nature to get their high school meets in this weekend. Many of the Virginia High School League (VHSL) meets took place last night (Jan. 13), with results trickling in. Montgomery County has postponed all events prior to noon, so we’ll see if the afternoon meets also get postponed. The Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swim Dive League (WMPSSDL) is scheduled to hold a few meets today, including the Georgetown Prep – Landon – DeMatha double dual-meet that will be broadcast live at DMVSTREAM.COM and the DMVSTREAM.COM Facebook Page at 4:30pm today (Jan. 14).
Be safe and swim fast if you are able to ‘slide’ your meet in this weekend.

Oakton Boys remain undefeated at 7-0 in the dual meet season with a narrow victory over their rival Robinson. The Robinson girls prevailed by 33 points. Should be an exciting Conference meet in a few weeks when these two teams battle again!

Hey Whitman Girls Rule, here’s some HS swimming coverage for you. Churchill girls crushed Whitman today. Walter Johnson also spanked Whitman on 12/10. The only meet Whitman girls won was against RM (which has a weak girls team this year). You’re now 1-2. The comments by Churchill Girls Rock have no place on this website. At best, the poster lacks sportsmanship and, at worst, he/she is a bully. I thought the moderators imposed higher standards in screening comments.
