Black History Month: A Retrospective on the Black History Swim Meet
DC Dept. of Recreation and Parks will host the 33rd annual Black History Swim Meet (BHSM) at the Takoma Park Pool in N.W. DC. We had a chance to talk with the Lewis brothers and received a wealth of information about the origins of the meet and the foundation set in the DMV for black athletes to succeed in swimming.
