USA Swimming Scholastic All America 2015-2016

Congratulations goes out to the Potomac Valley Swimming (PVS) athletes who were recently named by USA Swimming to the 2015-2016 Scholastic All America Team.  Athletes requirements and application process are found here.  The Eastern Zone had 281 swimmers recognized, 59 of whom were PVS swimmers.  PVS had the 5th most athletes named to the list among the Local Swimming Committees in the Eastern Zone, and NCAP had the 2nd most swimmers among teams in this zone.

The Scholastic All American team members will receive certificates and a bag tag.  Three-time designees will receive a special gift.  Awards will be shipped this Fall.

USA Swimming is proud to recognize these scholar-athletes and congratulates the swimmers on their achievement, as well as their coaches and parents for their outstanding support.

(Worth noting, athletes must apply for this distinction, and many athletes who meet the criteria do not apply).
