By Reach for the Wall staff.
SwimSwam recognized Philip Manoff (15 years old – NCAP) in its most recent Weekly Wonders of Age Group Swimming column.
At the PVS January Distance Meet last week, Manoff swam a 9:26.99 in the boys’ 15 and over 1000 free, dropping nearly 12 seconds off his seed time to win the event. As the magazine notes, Manoff has dropped 22.4 seconds over the last 14 months in this event, and now is the #5 ranked 15 year-old boy in the country in 1000 free for the 2016-17 short course season.
Congratulations Philip!
