Ehhh…. ever heard of John Shebat? Sophomore At Texas. Me thinks he did ok in HS, last year at NCAA’s, and as well as Olympic Trials. He is also off to a great start this season. But hey, John is very happy swimming for Eddie, collecting NCAA trophies & rings, and getting no love back at “home” – unfortunately including this sites. Go Oakton Cougars and Hook’em Horns!
RFTW has recognized John Shebat several times (see e.g., http://reachforthewall.com/2016/03/27/pvs-swimmers-shine-at-ncaas/; http://reachforthewall.com/2016/12/07/top-pvs-swimmers-in-ncaa-at-midseason-break/; http://reachforthewall.com/2016/06/29/pvs-at-olympic-trials-day-3-recap/; http://reachforthewall.com/2016/06/28/pvs-at-olympic-trials-day-1-and-2-recap/). But John was not mentioned in today’s RFTW article because SwimSwam didn’t mention him in their article.

I stand corrected and apologize for the undeserved criticism. We really appreciate this website and all the hard work you and the other volunteers do to keep swimming in the news. Thanks! OHS Cougar
No worries – thanks for the comment. (As an aside, I’m a Longhorn and am pulling for Shebat & Co. to bring another NCAA title to Austin in March).
That both made my day and makes me feel even worse about by initial comments! BTW, John was one of the four Longhorns on the 4×50 Free Relay team that currently has the fastest time this year. Hook’em Horns!

Thanks again, Hook’em!
