MCSL and Prince-Mont complete their dual meet seasons
By: Reach for the Wall Staff
July 14th marked the 5th week of dual meet competition in MCSL and Prince-Mont. It was a hard week for some of the older swimmers who were also participating in the PVS Junior and Senior champs (Thursday-Sunday). However, it was a fast Saturday of swimming, with approximately 32% of all the MCSL All Star nominating times and 29% of all the Prince-Mont top times being achieved! In the MCSL, 13 of the 15 divisions had a team go undefeated, whereas Prince-Mont had an undefeated team in 5 of the 6 divisions.

Young Hotshots!
It isn’t uncommon to see 6 year olds in the 8 and under events, it’s pretty awesome when they get the MCSL All-Star times! Special shout out goes to:
Riaan Ahuja, (boys butterfly) from Montgomery Square and Mai Lan Bui, (girls butterfly) from Bethesda for getting their All-Star times at the age of six!
In the Prince-Mont league, Sasha McDonough from Cheverly made the top 25 list in 2 events, the 50 freestyle (3rd) and 25 butterfly (4th)
This Saturday (7/21), each league is holding their division championship meets, which will determine for many who will capture the division title!
