MCPS Top Times: Dec. 14

This weekend the PVS club teams in the area held their championship meets, with RMSC hosting the Holiday Invitational, NCAP hosting their Invitational, as well as in Virginia, Mako holding their Invitational. These meets had the kids spread across the area and provided them opportunities to swim a ‘trials and finals’ meet before the holiday break. Having so many club swimmers away at these Invitationals provided the opportunity for the coaches to maneuver their lineups and use the depth of their teams. The matchup between the boys of Whitman and Churchill turned out to be the closest meet of the weekend, with Whitman edging out Churchill 93-92. For the Girls, Blake and Magruder battled within 5 points, with Magruder taking the win 94-89.
