Montgomery County Dive League (MCDL) All Star Meet!

Drum roll please!…..That is right!
It has been two long years since MCDL held their All Stars Meet, Montgomery County’s top 1meter springboard divers battle it out for the top spot in the league. For this group of readers – you swimmers – MCDL stands for Montgomery County Dive League.
Like MCSL – MCDL’s charter is to be a developmental league…introducing young county athletes to the sport of diving and training the fundamental skills necessary to be successful in their future. Many of our local kids have gone on to compete nationally, internationally, in the NCAA’s and Olympic Trials.
This experience and team spirit only our neighborhood community pools do so well!
This year 2021 MCDL has 25 pools in the county who fielded teams. After 6 awesome weeks of competition the best divers in the county will compete at MCDL’s 2021 All Stars meet which will be this week.
What can you expect at this 2 day All Star Meet? More than 72 athletes each day competing for the top places in the county.
Where: Westleigh Recreation Club located in North Potomac
When: Competition begins at 3pm on both July 28th & July 29th
Who: The top 3 divers for each age group and gender are invited to this All Star Meet

Each age group will be bringing some special dives and worthy for anyone who is interested in seeing some amazing local talent to attend this event.
There will also be concessions with yummy food, several frozen treat vendors- enough sugar to put anyone into a coma, a t-shirt vendor that will make shirts onsite, information on camps & training programs with Fitter & Faster!
JOLYN swim suits will be onsite selling their best of the best suits, and you can learn more about Westleigh Recreation Club where Swimming, Diving, Tennis, Pickleball, and Volleyball are a part of everyday.
Maryland Dive Club and a MCDL will have an information table where you can learn more about the league…does your pool have dive boards and no Dive Team? Let’s talk!
