Churchill and Stone Ridge Repeat as Metro Champs, More Records Fall During Finals

The fans, adorned in their school colors, packed Germantown Indoor Swim Center to support their schools and athletes competing in the finals session of the Metro Championships Saturday night. The students filled every inch of deck space, encouraging the swimmers to go beyond the ordinary, and achieve greatness for their teams. There was an ebb and flow to the Team title races for both the Boys (Churchill, Gonzaga, Whitman) and Girls (Stone Ridge, BCC, Walter Johnson), with Churchill and Stone Ridge ultimately prevailing. Our photographer, Marcus Chen, was on deck capturing the moments as they unfolded. We will highlight the top swims, calling out the All American (Automatic=AAAU, Consideration=AAAC), Metro Records, or otherwise outstanding efforts!
