Carsten Vissering (Bethesda, Md / Georgetown Prep) finished 16th in the 200-yard breaststroke.  Paul O’Hara (Alexandria, Va / Gonzaga College High School) anchored Harvard’s 200-yard free relay to a 16th place finish.

In the women’s championship, PVS stars, Sarah Haase (Stanford), Janet Hu (Stanford) and Hellen Moffitt (North Carolina) all scored for their respective teams.

Sarah Haase (Rockville, Md / Our Lady of Good Counsel) and Janet Hu (Vienna, Va / Oakton High School) joined forces to propel Stanford’s 200-yard medley relay to a 1st place finish.  Haase also finished 2nd in the 100-yard breaststroke, and Hu finished 4th in the 100-yard fly and 5th in the 100-yard backstroke.

Hellen Moffitt (Machine/West Potomac) finished right behind Hu in the 100 fly (5th). She was also on both if UNC’s medley relays that scored (14th and 16th).

Thank you for bringing the site back. There were PVS swimmers who also competed in DII and DIII Championships and had impressive swims. Any chance mentioning those swimmers in another article?
