By Reach for the Wall staff.

Below are some videos of PVS swimmers in action at universities that are favorites to take the NCAA swimming and diving title next month in Indiana (i.e., Stanford, U. of California at Berkeley, U. of Texas at Austin).

Texas Longhorns.  In the 200 free relay video below, Jack Conger (Rockville, Md / Our Lady of Good Counsel) threw down the fastest split in the 1st leg (19.41), John Shebat (Oak Hill, Va / Oakton High School) went the fastest in the 3rd leg (19.00), and our Richmond, Virginia neighbor, Townley Haas (Benedictine High School), had the fastest 4th leg (19.19).

In the 200 medley relay video below, Shebat (21.16) out touched Conger (21.41) in the initial backstroke leg, and Haas again had the fastest final freestyle leg.

Stanford Cardinal.   The video below of the Stanford – U. of Southern California dual meet highlights the wins that Katie Ledecky (Bethesda, Md / Stone Ridge) had in the 500 and 1000 free.  The video also mentions the wins that Janet Hu (Vienna, Va / Oakton High School) had in the 100 back and 100 fly.

California Golden Bears.  SwimSwam noted in a recent article that Andrew Seliskar (McLean, Va / Thomas Jefferson High School) led his Cal Berkeley team to a win over Carsten Vissering (Bethesda, Md / Georgetown Prep) and his USC Trojans at a recent dual meet.  Seliskar won the 200 fly, 200 breast and 200 IM, while Vissering won the 100 breast.  As a result of these and other wins, Seliskar was named Pac-12 Men’s Swimmer of the Month.
