Churchill in Early Lead at Metros after Diving

Girls Diving was the focus of Day 2 of the 2017 Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships (Metros) at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center.
Hannah Montau (Seneca Valley High School) won the one-meter event with 457.10 points, Madeline Pfaff (Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School) took 2nd with 448.70 points, Kamryn Umbel (Richard Montgomery High School) placed 3rd with 431.90 points, and Regan Westwood (Wootton High School) finished 4th with 408.60 points.
Here are the final results of Girls Diving at 2017 Metros.
Stone Ridge’s girl divers won Day 2 of Metros, getting 30 of 233 possible team points. Bethesda-Chevy Chase took the 2nd most points with 29, and Clarksburg finished with the 3rd most points with 27.
So, the aggregate team scores after the conclusion of both Boys Diving (Day 1) and Girls Diving (Day 2) are as follows:
- Churchill HS – 64 points
- B-CC HS – 38 points
- Wootton HS – 36 points
- Walt Whitman HS & Walter Johnson HS – both with 34 points
- Richard Montgomery HS – 33 points
- Stone Ridge – 30 points
The swimming portion of Metros starts tomorrow (Friday, February 10) with 500 Freestyle and the 400 Freestyle Relay Trials. Warm-ups start at 4:30 pm and the racing starts at 5:30 pm.

You missed a couple of schools with high aggregate points. Wootton HS had 36 points and Richard Montgomery HS had 33 points.
