2017 MPSSAA State Championships – Meet Information

Below is key information regarding each of the following Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) State Swimming and Diving Championships that take place February 24 – 25 at the Eppley Recreation Center on the campus of the University of Maryland – College Park.

Class 4A/3A/2A/2A Diving Championships

• Where:  Eppley Recreation Center – University of Maryland (4128 Valley Dr, College Park, MD 20742)
• When:  Friday, February 24
  • Doors open at 4 p.m.
  • Competition begins at 5 p.m.
• Who:  Entry List
• WiFi:  To get strong WiFi at Eppley, sign-up at https://fs30.formsite.com/djang/WIFI-Request/index.html.
• Parking:  Terrapin Trail Parking Garage
  • Follow Terrapin Trail to the Terrapin Trail Parking Garage behind the Recreation Center. This garage is free after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Saturday, unless a special event is occuring.
  • Meters by the Eppley Recreation Center are in effect Monday through Sunday from 7 AM – 12 Midnight.
  • You risk being ticketed if you park in the parking next to the Eppley Recreation Center, so to be safe, park at the Terrapin Trail Garage or in a metered park space
• Admission:  $10

Class 4A/3A State Swimming Championships

• Where:  Eppley Recreation Center – University of Maryland (4128 Valley Dr, College Park, MD 20742)
• When:  Saturday, February 25
  • Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
  • Competition begins at 9:30 a.m.
• Who:

• Parking (updated info):
  • Due to the UMD men’s basketball game on campus this Saturday, parking at the following locations will be unavailable for those attending the State Championship Swim Meet:
    • The lower parking lot next to the Eppley Rec. Center; and
    • The Terrapin Trail Garage (only on Saturday).
  • Parking is available at the following locations:
    • The Stadium Garage next to Byrd Stadium for $5; or
    • Lot 1 (on the opposite side of the football stadium next to Ludwig Soccer Field).
    • Metered parking space
• Admission:  $10
