NCSA Jr. Nationals: Results from Final Day

PVS swimmers finished strong on the 5th and last day of the 2017 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Junior National Championships (March 14-18) in Orlando, Florida.

Tommy Hallock (Machine) went 20.15 to win the men’s 50 free, Matthew Hirschberger (NCAP) won the men’s 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:06.63, and both of NCAP’s men’s and women’s 400 medley relays finished 1st.  In the men’s 200 IM, 3 of the 4 top swimmers were from PVS (2nd place – Darren Durocher (NCAP); 3rd place – Will Cumberland (NCAP); 4th place – Casey Storch (Machine)).

In the team standings, NCAP won the combined team championship with 2731 points, the men’s team championship with 1568.5 points, and the women’s team championship with 1162.5 points.  Machine Aquatics placed 6th in the combined team standings with 778.5 points, 2nd in the men’s team standings with 641.5 points, and 19th in the women’s team standings with 137 points.  RMSC placed 15th in the combined team standings with 371.5 points, 11th in the men’s team standings with 221.5 points, and 18th in the women’s team standings with 150 points.  Snow Swimming placed 17th in the men’s combined standings.
