Day 2: 2017 NCSA Age Group Champs

After Day 2 of the 2017 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) Age Group Swimming Championships in Orlando, Florida (March 21-24), RMSC has extended its lead for both the men’s title (743 points) and the women’s title (587 points).  With regard to other PVS teams, the women’s team for NCAP is in 5th place (254 points), Snow is 10th with 133 points, and Machine is in 12th place (110 points).   On the men’s side, Machine Aquatics is 8th with 126 points, Snow is in 22nd (52 points), Herndon Aquatic Club is 37th with 21 points, and NCAP is 46th with 5 points.

Andrew Eliason (12 yrs – Machine) and Erin Gemmell (12 yrs – NCAP) were double winners yesterday, with Eliason finishing first in 200 free (1:51.56) and 100 back (55.86), and Gemmell winning both 200 free (1:55.06) and 100 back (59.55).  Other first place winners from PVS include Adriano Arioti (10 yr – RMSC) in 100 back, Abby Carr (13 yrs – RMSC) in 200 back, Sophie Elliott (12 yrs – RMSC) in 200 fly, Ryan Gruner (14 yrs – RMSC), Zichao Liang (14 yrs – RMSC) in 100 breaststroke, and Samuel Oliver (14 yrs – Snow) in 500 free.
