Pierce English Memorial Swim Meet

A member of the Reach for the Wall staff recently received the following announcement for the inaugural Pierce English Memorial swim meet:

We are excited to announce that MFST will help support a swim meet organized by JFD and TIBU in order to raise funds in Pierce’s honor for Manasseh House, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young men, ages 18 to 24, as they transition from the foster care system into the real world.  Pierce English was a beloved member of our swim community for 11 years as an athlete, coach, and a lifeguard. Manasseh House teaches these men to lead through integrity, become champions of hope, and live with moral values in the community – all ideals that Pierce honored.

Meet Info: Saturday, December 30 from 1-4pm at the Quince Orchard “Bubble”

The entry fee is $25 per swimmer and 100% of all proceeds will be donated.  Checks can be made out to Manasseh House or made online at http://www.manassehhouse.org via paypal.  The Manasseh House is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Therefore, any donations to Manasseh House are tax-deductible and likely eligible for employer match programs.

*The first 200 entries will receive a free t-shirt.*

To sign up your swimmer, please fill out the attached form and email to jfdmeets@gmail.com .  If you make your meet entry donation online via paypal, please forward your payment confirmation at the same time you email your meet entry form.
