Despite Braemar Blasters swimming 51% faster than their seed times (a tie
for first place in PWSL), it was not enough to overcome the Sudley
Seahorses for the Division 1 match up this past Saturday. The Seahorses
won the meet by 339 points, posting a final score of 2812.50 to 2473.50.
The only record set for the meet was posted by Braemar’s 13-14 Boys
Medley Relay Team which consisted of Leo Sowers, Jordan Evans, Logan
Grant and Alexander Martins. The previous week they also broke this
record with a time of 2:01.34. This weeks’ time came in at 1:59.40 which is
getting close to the PWSL record for Event #6 set in 2018.
This week Blaster team members recorded 82 “Top 25 Times” in the
league for the week which is 5 more than last week. Of those, Jordan
Evans earned PWSL’s top spot in Boys 13-14 50 Breast event with a time
of 32.15.
Eighteen Blaster relay teams placed among the league’s “Top 15 Times”
for the week in their events with two teams taking the league’s top place.
The team taking the top spots this week is again the Boys 13-14 age group
in both the Freestyle and Medley Relays.
