USA Swimming Nationals Day 4

Today the mid-distance freestylers get to start the meet off with the 400 Freestyle, then it’s the 100 Breaststroke and Backstroke.

Here’s the results of prelims as they completed around noon today:

400 Freestyle:

Top seed Katie Ledecky, held her position with a 4:01.88. Erin Gemmell (NCAP) qualified tied for 4th with a 4:07.96 and Paige McKenna (Wisconsin/NCAP) is 28th with a 4:15.56.

100 Breaststroke:
Anna Keating (UVA/Machine) qualified 21st with a 1:10.04
Jed Garner (RMSC) placed 36th swimming a 1:03.10

100 Backstroke:
Phoebe Bacon (Wisconsin/NCAP) qualified 6th in 59.61, Aris Runnels (Gator/NCAP) 32nd in 1:01.84
JT Ewing (Wolfpack/AAC) 33rd 55.58, Adriano Arioti (RMSC) 40th 56.36 and while not PVS, but local Joe Hayburn (Annapolis Swim Club) qualified 26th in 55.31
