Montgomery County honors its Olympians

Montgomery County hosted a celebration last night at the Civic Building in Silver Spring to honor its 2016 Team USA Olympians.
Montgomery County Executive, Ike Leggett, recognized swimmers Katie Ledecky (Bethesda, Md / Stanford University / Stone Ridge) and Jack Conger (Rockville, Md / University of Texas at Austin / Our Lady of Good Counsel), kayaker Ashley Nee, and wrestler Helen Maroulis. All but Maroulis attended the event.
Ledecky, of course, won 4 gold medals (200m, 400m & 800m free, 800 free relay) and 1 silver medal (400m free relay) in Rio. Conger won a gold medal in the 800 free relay.
