VHSL- at a glance

The VHSL season began the weekend of November 30 and will continue for some through December 21. Others schools swam their last meets before break this weekend and will resume competition 12/29, getting in their last 3-4 dual meets before District competitions begin the last weekend in January. Many of the top 16 times in the DMV last Spring came from the VHSL District, Region and State Championship meets. Here’s a rundown of the top returning swimmers/times:

In the second week of dual meets (12/7), Concorde District and Northern Region defending champion James Madison clashed with the Occoquan Region defending champions Robinson. Robinson emerged with a victory in both the boys and girls competitions. Robinson and Patriot District defending champion WT Woodson will compete next weekend, providing a preview of what’s to come in February. For all districts/regions/state classifications, the following teams are looking to keep their titles:
