As several areas of the DMV are able to (or will be able to soon) open their outdoor swimming facilities, we’ve heard lots of ideas for implementing the rules, and keeping your summer league team members engaged. Further there’s been some talk about having having virtual competitions (for fun of course!). To foster those ideas and encourage dialogue, we’ve opened the forum feature of our site:
This is open to any visitor, and you can comment on an existing thread, or start your own. We will monitor and enforce the typical rules of a Forum, and if we find it to be burdonsome, will take it offline. Here’s an example of some of the rules to follow:
- No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to self-promoting websites will be deleted immediately.
- Respect other contributors. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum by moderators.
- Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior will be deleted from the forums.
- Adult content. No profanity is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
- Illegal content. No re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.
Overall, please use our platform to exchange your thoughts and ideas for how pools and teams can operate under the ‘new’ rules & share your experiences!
