Clarksburg Village Virtual Swim Team

Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) may be be cancelled for Summer 2020, but it hasn’t stopped the Clarksburg Village Vikings from team activities. Led by coaches Jenni Halem and Stephanie Hobelmann, 60 swimmers have joined the virtual team! They have been busy the past two weeks participating in activities including coloring sheets to display at their front door, scavenger hunts, and honoring seniors. The team also uses the ever popular Zoom platform once a week to play games — pictionary was last week, and they are working on a BINGO fundraiser. Future activities include plans for a tie dye project, kindness rocks, and a car wash.

The virtual swim team is open to anyone in the Clarksburg Village HOA, and they are still accepting new team members. You can register for the virtual team HERE

We have heard from and seen some additional interest from teams across the DMV in MCSL, NVSL and Prince-Mont to participate in some form of a virtual summer league. Check out our forum to share your ideas and connect with other teams: Summer League Forum
