OCCS 13 & Over Meet of Champions: Saturday

In the fourth night of competition, the swimmers competed in the 100 Backstroke, 500 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly. The closest finish of the night came in the longest event…the Girls 15 & Over 500 Free! Abby Daniel and Lauren Hartel battled throughout, with Lauren taking the early lead, then at the 300 turn Abby jumped in front. Both girls brought it home strong, with Abby touching first in 5:03.13 , 2 tenths ahead of Lauren who touched in in 5:03.34, way to go! One more night of swimming left, keep on swimming fast!
