Swim and shop…local!

Before Swim Outlet, before Amazon, there were local swim stores in your greater neighborhood that helped you and your neighbors get ready for the summer season.

Capital Sport & Swim is just one of those special mom & pop shops in the DMV.  What makes these stores so special?  They are the ones who donate to your charity, the owners live in your neighborhood, they are the ones to employ you or your friend as their first job, they come to your pool each start of the season to help you get measured/fitted for this summer’s swim season!  They are the outfitters for MCSL, NVSL, and a number of other club teams!

Since the growth of Swim Outlet & Amazon they have shifted their businesses to meet the neighborhoods unique needs. Even with the shift, they find themselves in 2021, during a pandemic, and getting slammed economically just like our local restaurants or favorite movie houses.

Now is the time to pick up those swimming essentials:

• Goggles
• Practice Suits
• Caps
• Warm up Suits
• Backpacks
• Nose Clips

Now is the time to come together as a community, to support the businesses who have supported us over the years, who ensured we had our “All Stars” shirt printed when they sold out, who opened up early or stayed late to ensure you got what you needed before the big meet.  Now is the time not to pick up 1 pair of goggles…but to by your primary, back up and your back up to the back up.

Let’s be honest, this is a hard time for all, but no one retailer is feeling the economic impact of this pandemic like your neighborhood mom and pop swim shop.
