2021 PV SC Championship Series – Wave III

The last meet in the PVS Championship Series, which showcases the 11-14 year old athletes, begins today 3/25 and will be competed at two facilities: The Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center as well as Claude Moore Recreation Center. Like the other meets in the series, the limits on capacity for each facility determines the number of athletes that have been accepted into each event and determined the placing of teams at each facility. PVS has created a ‘landing page’ for all the administrative information (heat sheets, timelines, volunteer sign ups, etc.), we’ve provided those below:
While tonight’s session will be combined (age groups 11-14), the remainder of the days will feature separate sessions for the preliminary swims, 11-12 will be in one session, 13’s in another and 14’s in the last session. The finals sessions will be held separately for the age groups 11-12 and 13-14, and the events will be swum within a single age (4 heats per event 1 heat girls 11, 1 heat boys 11, 1 heat girls 12, 1 heat boys 12, etc.). The top 6 swimmers in prelims for each age will qualify for the finals session, so there’s a bit more urgency to have a good prelim swim!
The live stream for the Freedom Center is hosted by the OOCS livestream You Tube site, which employs the overlays where the swimmers and times are made visible throughout the race. The Claude Moore live stream will be hosted through the FISH Facebook page which doesn’t require a Facebook membership to watch. Results should also be available via Meet Mobile.. .the prior meets were labeled “2021 PV SC Championship“…this weekend’s meet hasn’t shown up in the listing yet, but likely will by meet time.
