MCSL ends the season with the annual All Star meet

On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, the MCSL wrapped up the 2022 season with their annual Individual All star meet. this meet is comprised of the top16 swimmers (ranked by time) for each event and swum in two heats, 9-16 and 1-8. Unlike other meets where there are 2 heats of ‘finals’, a swimmer from the first heat can move up past 9th place into the top 8 and vice versa depending on how the races go. As you may expect, there is a lot of movement from their seed to final standings in the younger age groups especially from places 6-12. We were fortunate enough to have Marcus Chen, a frequent contributor to RFTW, on deck and snapping the action as it went down. Congratulations to all who competed & we look forward to doing it again in 2023!!
