September 12, 2023: USA Swimming released the roster (94 swimmers) for the National Team. Highlighting the list of amazing swimmers are 4 from the DMV: Phoebe Bacon (NCAP/Wisconsin), Erin Gemmell (NCAP/Texas), Torri Huske (AAC/Stanford) and Katie Ledecky (NCAP/Florida). Per USA Swimming, here’s a few ‘quick facts’ about the 2023-24 U.S. National Team:
• 45 USA Swimming clubs represented
• 22 states represented
• 12 current American Record holders (LCM)
• 6 current World Record holders (LCM)
Selection process in brief: The U.S. National Team is comprised of the six (6) athletes with the fastest times in each Individual Olympic Event, from the combined results of a USA Swimming sanctioned competition, an AQUA approved competition, or an international competition between January 1, 2023 through September 9, 2023 to which USA Swimming sent a team. September 18, 2023: Following up from their National Team announcement, USA Swimming also announced the National Junior Team. Adriano Arioti (RMSC) was rewarded with a spot on that team for his performance in the 200 Backstroke (1:59.58) at the 2023 Phillips 66 National Championships meet in June. Congratulations Adriano!!

The National Junior Team roster was selected from eligible athletes according to long course meter times achieved between January 1, 2023 through and including September 10, 2023. From the September 18 announcement:
A breakdown of the 2023-2024 U.S. National Junior Team:
- 53 USA Swimming clubs are represented
- 39 athletes have represented the U.S. internationally
- 49 athletes make their National Junior Team roster debut
- Six athletes have been on the junior team for at least three years
- 29 athletes were on the World Aquatics Junior Championships Team
