2017 Eastern Zone Short Course Championships (“Zones”)

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday (March 30 – April 1), USA Swimming will co-sponsor the 2017 Eastern Zone Short Course Championships (Zones) at the Webster Aquatic Center in Webster, New York.
As explained here, this is the championship meet for age group swimmers in the Eastern Zone of the United States (i.e., the yellow region in the map above). At Zones, each Local Swimming Committee (LSC) in the Eastern Zone (e.g., PVS) compiles a team of its fastest available swimmers following its end-of-season championship meet (e.g., the 2017 Short Course 14 & Under Junior Olympic Championships (“JOs”)) to compete against other LSC teams in the same zone. The swimmers on these Zone teams compete under the name of their LSC (not their clubs).
